Welcome to the “COMPUTEX TAIPEI design & innovation award 2008”
Almost 30 years of IT experience in Taiwan: Taiwan is known as a technological innovator, and in its capital Taipei the technology sector is growing rapidly. With rich experience and capability in OEM, Taiwan is making her every effort to transfer this island from R&D and technical support centers to global production and operation centers in the IT Industry. Originally a purely local event, COMPUTEX TAIPEI has since developed into Asia’s biggest IT exhibition and the world’s leading ICT procurement platform. For the first time in 2008 this popular and first-rate exhibition is being staged at the new exhibition center — TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall, where top-class exhibitors from across the globe will present their latest IT products and services.
Technical progress is the basis for all change. Once a year Taipei functions as the command center for the international IT sector: Every year since the beginning of the 80s COMPUTEX TAIPEI has seized the opportunity to make the future tangible. This makes it all the more interesting for companies to take advantage of COMPUTEX TAIPEI as a specialist show highlighting facts and innovations and providing a presentation platform for demonstrating technological advances combined with outstanding design.
For the first time, iF International Forum Design GmbH has acquired the opportunity to commit its entire competence and experience to supporting COMPUTEX TAIPEI in the traditional and successful form of an “organized by iF” project. The COMPUTEX TAIPEI design & innovation award will make its debut in 2008, organized by COMPUTEX TAIPEI organizing team and Taiwan Design Center(TDC).
